Code Red isn't a problem because the worm is good at duplicating itself. Code Red is a problem because the worm is good at duplicating itself, and people don't know they've been hit. Here's a Perl script I wrote to address that problem.

This is a program I threw together to allow Unix-like/Apache webmasters who receive Code Red attacks to warn the administrators of the offending sites that they've been cracked. It is meant to be short and sweet, and needs slight configuration before working.
